Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is seeking suppliers to collaborate in co-designing and delivering sustainable, integrated and community-aligned rural GP primary care models across the North Burnett and rural Bundaberg regions. WBHHS currently supports rural GP services through commissioned private general practices and a mix of third-party management arrangements and WBHHS-employed Medical Practitioners operating under Private Practice agreements. This Expression of Interest invites high-level concepts that strengthen rural GP access and build resilient service pathways in thin markets, with particular emphasis on patient-centred care, integrated service pathways, sustainable and resilient rural GP models, and strong alignment with community needs and expectations.
