Rated Item rates are fully inclusive of haulage (including altered haulage distances) and no extra profit/overhead allowed; omitted items or rates in bill of quantities are at Contractor's risk with no entitlement to claim.
If subcontractor suspends work under Security of Payment Act, Contractor remains liable and cannot claim EOT or delay/disruption costs; but if Contractor suspends under that Act practical completion date is not affected though EOT may be claimed (subject to Item 23).
