About

Hinchinbrook Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the demolition and removal of structures located at 7–17 Herbert Street, Ingham QLD 4850, as described in Part 5 – Scope. This RFT follows regulatory action under the Building Act 1975 (Qld) after inspections and professional assessments found the buildings and associated structures to be in a dangerous, dilapidated condition and unfit for use or occupation; independent building certification and structural engineering inspections identified significant structural deterioration including failed structural elements, water ingress, foundation movement and collapse of internal components, creating a risk to public safety and surrounding properties.
