Gladstone Regional Council is seeking a contractor to design and construct an Australian-manufactured fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) boardwalk along Jeffery Court in Agnes Water. The boardwalk is approximately 90m long with a width varying between 2.8–3.2m including handrail sections. The contractor must provide full design, RPEQ engineering certification, construction, site supervision and as-constructed drawings. The design must address static electricity buildup across the boardwalk, load bearing members and foundations, and the boardwalk must be designed and built to retain existing trees and avoid damage to trunks, roots and the document-defined critical root zones.
