About

The Department of Local Government, Water and Volunteers (DLGWV) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to design and construct the Mapoon New Treated Water Reservoir Project. The works comprise geotechnical investigations and surveying to support the reservoir design and future Water Treatment Plant (WTP) upgrades, demolition and removal of an existing steel structure, relocation of two sheds for Council repurposing, remediation of the existing 1.2 ML concrete reservoir, and the design, supply, delivery, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and performance testing of a new treated water reservoir. A non-mandatory industry briefing will be held at 10:30am AEST on 16 September 2026 and tenderers must register attendance by emailing [email protected]...; the tender closes 07 Oct 2026 at 02:00 PM (Brisbane time). This is aimed at suitably qualified and experienced contractors with capability in end-to-end water infrastructure delivery (design, geotechnical works, demolition, remediation and commissioning).
