Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified Design & Construct contractor to deliver the Palm Island Walking Trails & Tourism Activation Project, covering the design and construction of walking trails, a Cultural Welcome Precinct, an eco/tourism accommodation base and associated tourism-supporting infrastructure as described in Part B, including investigations, surveys, assessments, design, approvals, construction, testing, commissioning, documentation and handover; tenders must demonstrate capability, capacity and methodology for Palm Island’s remote-island, cultural, environmental and logistical context, with Practical Completion required by 31 December 2027 and tenders closing 30 October 2026 (contact: Marcio Fialho, [email protected], 0448 339 292).
