Cook Shire Council is seeking a supplier for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and completion of a solar system at the Cooktown Events Centre, located at 3 May Street, Cooktown. The system is approximately 130kW (contractor to determine size suitability) and must be installed as a carpark-mounted solar shade structure; roof-mounted systems will not be accepted. The contractor is responsible for full structural design of the carpark shade structure, a cyclone-rated design suitable for Far North Queensland, integration with the existing carpark layout, drainage and stormwater considerations, and electrical integration with existing switchboards.
