About

Mackay Regional Council is seeking a supplier for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of upgraded chemical storage, ventilation, safety and control systems at the Mackay Aquatic and Recreation Complex (MARC), Mackay. The works relate to upgrading the existing hydrochloric acid and sodium hypochlorite storage and dosing facilities within an operational aquatic centre to address identified safety, compliance and operational issues and deliver a compliant, integrated solution in accordance with applicable legislation, Australian Standards and the Agreement as detailed in Part 5 – Scope of Work. Tenderers must demonstrate relevant experience in similar works involving hazardous chemicals, confined spaces and live operational environments, noting chemical dosing systems are required to remain operational throughout the works subject to approved arrangements.
