Tender: Detailed Design and Documentation for Lewis Park Playspace and Public Toilet – Wantirna South

Knox City Council is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to produce detailed design and construction-ready documentation for a new playspace and public toilet block at Lewis Park, Wantirna South as part of the 2026/27 Capital Works Program. The project requires a high-quality, accessible and low-maintenance playspace integrated with the Lewis Park Stage 2 Sports and Activity Hub, including design and documentation of the Junior Play and Education Area (play elements, landscape works, paths, seating, drinking fountain, planting, drainage, accessibility and safety). It also requires design and documentation of a public toilet facility informed by the Council’s Public Toilet Management Plan and Policy 2026, addressing siting, accessibility, safety, durability, maintenance, servicing and user amenity, and including left-hand and right-hand accessible toilets plus separate male and female ambulant facilities. The consultant must coordinate specialist inputs, authority requirements, permits, cost planning and tender-ready documentation. The site is publicly accessible open space and may be inspected at any time; no pre-competitive bid meeting or site briefing will be held.
