About

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is seeking a supplier for Detailed Design Services for the Newell Highway Flood Mitigation project between West Wyalong and Forbes. This is an early notice that an Open Tender may be issued to suitably qualified and experienced tenderers, with the required services to be described in the Scope of Services and General Requirements document that will form part of the RFT package when published. Respondents (individually or as a joint venture) must hold registration under the Technical Services Registration Scheme (SCM8661) in the following service categories: Complex Road Design; Standard Bridge Design; Drainage Investigation and Design (or via subcontractor); and Estimating Services – General (or via subcontractor).

This opportunity is suited to engineering consultancies or joint ventures that already hold SCM8661 registrations across road, bridge, drainage and estimating categories or can provide those capabilities via approved subcontractors. Key considerations are the requirement to meet the specified Technical Services Registration (SCM8661) in all listed categories (or arrange subcontractors where allowed) and that detailed scope and requirements will be provided only when the RFT package is published, so bidders should be prepared to respond to detailed design specifications.
