Geological Survey of NSW is seeking a supplier to develop an OGC-compliant RDF knowledge graph architecture and deliver data transformation, engineering, science and architecture services to make GSNSW geoscience data AI-ready, semantically modelled and interoperable. The DTMD Project requires an experienced vendor with expertise in AI-ready data architectures, ontology-based semantic models and RDF knowledge graphs in geoscience or similar scientific domains to undertake data discovery, harmonisation, cleansing, semantic and ontological modelling to support a DTMD cookbook and a standalone cloud-based sandbox. The vendor will review relevant geoscience standards, vocabularies and schemas (including GeoSciML where applicable) to inform GSNSW data architectures, taxonomies, glossaries, dictionaries and controlled vocabularies, ingest public GSNSW datasets, maintain data provenance, support spatial, non-spatial and 3D/4D geoscience data, and align solutions with NSW Government AI, security and governance requirements, delivering documentation, knowledge transfer, lessons learned and a strategic transformation roadmap. Exclusions include property graph databases, Agentic AI, generative AI, LLMs, confidential data, direct GSNSW database integration, and public access to project environments or outputs.
