About

East Gippsland Shire Council is seeking a contractor to design and construct fire safety upgrades at Omeo Holiday Park and Bemm River Caravan Park to bring the operational caravan parks into compliance with the 2024 CFA guidelines. The project requires review and upgrade of current park operations and fire protection arrangements, design and construction of upgraded fire hydrant systems, and a site master plan that addresses internal road access, fire appliance access, hydrant coverage, emergency access, separation distances and adequate park spacing in accordance with the 2024 CFA guidelines. ECM drawings are provided as performance/reference information only; the contractor is responsible for completing and certifying the detailed design under AS 4902.
