Tender: Gippsland Transitioning Workforce Fund – Support Services for Workers, Families and Communities Affected by the Energy Transition

The Transitioning Workforce Fund Gippsland is seeking a supplier to support workers, families and communities affected by the Gippsland region’s energy transition by delivering practical education, training and employment pathways that strengthen workforce participation. Proposals should complement existing skills and workforce programs and build on established industry and community partnerships, including helping people understand and act on available transition supports, entitlements and pathways across Commonwealth, state and non-government systems; translating existing information into simple practical tools for informed decision-making; identifying barriers to accessing supports and providing tailored guidance and direct individual and workplace engagement (including referrals); connecting workers and families to local jobs by engaging employers to understand current and emerging workforce needs and realistic job pathways based on local demand; and monitoring performance and reporting activities, insights and systemic barriers to the department to inform continuous improvement.
