About

The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) is seeking service providers to deliver pre-accelerator commercialisation programs and/or accelerator programs under the Australian Grains Innovation Program 2025, supporting novel innovation aligned with the GRDC Research, Development and Extension Plan 2023-28. The objective is to drive the discovery, development and delivery of world-class innovation to enhance the productivity, profitability and sustainability of Australian grain growers and benefit the wider grains industry and community. Proposals must demonstrate facilitated engagement with growers, grower groups, farming systems groups, or other relevant stakeholders. Pre-accelerator programs should show a proven track record in helping innovators—including growers, entrepreneurs, students and researchers—build entrepreneurial skills, validate ideas and develop commercialisation pathways such as new venture creation or licensing. Accelerator programs should show a proven track record in accelerating the development and growth of start-up companies in agriculture or other relevant sectors. Applicants may propose one or both program types, with successful applicants potentially contracted for up to three years.
