Boroondara, located 5–10 kilometres east of the Melbourne CBD in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne, is recognised as one of Victoria’s most significant heritage municipalities and contains an extensive and diverse collection of heritage places reflecting the cultural heritage of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people, natural heritage, the legacy of 19th century settlement and its colonial and multicultural history.
