About

The National Capital Authority (NCA) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to act as Independent Technical Advisor (ITA) for Scrivener Dam from 2026 to 2029. The ITA will undertake regular audits to assess the NCA's compliance with the Dam Safety Management Plan and provide independent technical advice for the dam's safety management. The role has been re-advertised through AusTender after the previous ATM (A26/6) was cancelled for non-compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.

This is suited to consulting firms or individual consultants with demonstrated dam safety and independent advisory experience. Key considerations include the ability to perform regular compliance audits against the Dam Safety Management Plan and ensuring procurement submissions fully comply with Commonwealth Procurement Rules, given the prior cancellation for non-compliance.
