About

Lithgow City Council is seeking a supplier to provide an independent technical review of strategic designs prepared by GHD for permanent solutions on Wolgan Road. The review covers three options: Portion 1 — restoration of the existing road to its pre-disaster function with eligible safety and maintenance improvements under EPAR/DRFA funding, with new works to conform to current engineering standards (Austroads and Technical Specifications) at a strategic design level to deliver a P90 cost estimate; Portion 2 — full-length, full-width reconstruction and geometry upgrades rebuilt to modern Austroads standards at a strategic design level to achieve a P90 cost estimate; and Portion 3 — a hybrid of Portions 1 and 2 using DRFA-compliant scope and removing Portion 1 items that are not DRFA-eligible, with reconstructed elements to modern standards.
