The Municipal Council of Roxby Downs is seeking a supplier for independent and objective internal audit services to support its governance, risk management and internal control framework. The successful provider will deliver a risk-based internal audit program, provide assurance and recommendations to Council, the Chief Executive Officer and the Audit and Risk Committee on the effectiveness of governance, financial management, compliance and operational processes, develop and deliver an internal audit work plan, conduct audits across key risk areas, and report findings and recommendations to management and the Audit and Risk Committee. Council requires a provider with demonstrated experience in the local government sector, a robust audit methodology, specialist internal audit expertise and the capability to deliver services in accordance with relevant professional standards and legislative requirements.
