icare is seeking a supplier for professional interpreting and translation services across all icare schemes, providing face-to-face, telephone, video and written translation to support participants, service providers and stakeholders. The procurement aims to establish a single, high-quality and value-for-money agreement to deliver accurate, confidential and culturally appropriate services that improve communication and accessibility for participants with limited English proficiency, hearing impairments or other communication needs. Services will include on-demand and scheduled interpreting (including after-hours), support for funding decisions, care planning, rehabilitation, medical and allied health consultations, return-to-work discussions, participant reviews, assessments and form completion, plus translation of correspondence, forms, brochures and care documents. Providers must maintain qualified and accredited interpreters and translators, quality assurance processes, booking and scheduling systems, reporting capabilities, and comply with applicable privacy, confidentiality and legislative requirements while delivering services across metropolitan, regional and remote locations in Australia and supporting participants overseas via telephone and video interpreting.
