About

The Town of Port Hedland is seeking suitably qualified contractors to deliver Black Spot Program-funded upgrades to the Demarchi Road–Murdoch Drive and Buttweld Road–North Circular Road intersections. Separable Portion 1 (Demarchi Road–Murdoch Drive) comprises widening the existing intersection to incorporate a median island on Demarchi Road, widening Murdoch Drive and constructing a new pavement layer with bituminous treatments to improve lane discipline and safe traffic flow. Separable Portion 2 (Buttweld Road–North Circular Road) involves widening the existing intersection to accommodate a median island on Buttweld Road to enable safer and more controlled traffic movements.
