Knox City Council (Melbourne) is seeking a contractor to carry out staged upgrades at Knox Leisureworks, with Stage 1 covering internal pool refurbishment and associated repairs and Stage 2 covering external works. Stage 1 includes repainting the existing 50m pool and Program pool, pool tiling cleaning and repairs including tiling the 50m pool ramp wall, replacement of the handrail on the 50m pool ramp, cleaning and maintenance of pool water features, regrading and replacement of Monotek finishes on the pool concourse, repair and rectification of corrosion on the water slide stair, and replacement of compact ball valves when the pool is drained for painting. Stage 2 includes construction of a new truck bund as shown on the drawings and cleaning and painting of water slide sections and their support structure. Compulsory site attendance is required on site at 11am 30th September and all contractors must attend site to inspect existing conditions and verify the extent of work required.
