Torres Strait Island Regional Council is seeking a supplier for a partial kitchen upgrade at Lot 173 Tamwoy Street, Badu to replace existing kitchen cupboards. The scope requires disconnecting associated plumbing and electrical services, removing and disposing of existing cupboards, and supplying and installing new cupboards while reusing existing benchtops. Works specify a minimum one bank of four drawers with each drawer having at least 100mm high sides, Blum Metabox (or approved equivalent) runners with a cutlery tray in the top drawer, and a child-deterrent cupboard at a minimum 300mm width within the bench cupboards. Doors, drawers and seen ends must be 16mm colour board with 2mm PVC edging in the same colour (Colour - TBA) and fitted with 96mm chrome bow handles; cupboard carcasses are to be 16mm ply laminated white with 1mm white edging and securely fixed; hinges are to be Blum 107-degree or approved equal; cupboards are to be supported on either a standard complete ply laminated fronts kicker or a 150mm high stainless steel legs and frame.
