About

The Office of Industrial Relations is seeking a suitably experienced supplier to develop and deliver de-escalation training for OIR staff. The training aims to equip staff with the knowledge and skills to manage difficult interactions and help resolve matters before they escalate, prepare front-line staff to communicate effectively in highly emotive situations to reduce the likelihood of work-related violence and aggression, and enable managers to support staff and manage related risks. The course is anticipated to be either one full day or two half-day sessions and is preferably delivered in person, with occasional virtual delivery via Microsoft Teams to accommodate staff across multiple locations and regions.
