About
Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service is seeking a principal contractor to complete a full roof replacement at Sunbird Cottage within the Cooktown Residential Aged Care facility. The existing roof has reached the end of its serviceable life and has experienced water ingress at two valleys on the southern side, so TCHHS is delivering a standalone roof replacement package ahead of internal refurbishment works. The project covers complete replacement of the existing roofing system, associated rainwater goods and nominated ancillary components while maintaining the facility’s integrity and ensuring the finished roof is durable, compliant and weatherproof for the tropical conditions of Far North Queensland.
