About

City of Mitcham is seeking a supplier for planned and requested reactive cleaning and maintenance of its in-line Gross Pollutant Traps (GPTs) and Grated Inlet Pits (GIPs) under a programmed contract covering 2027–2032. The scope includes work zone traffic management, lifting of GIP grates and GPT lids, removal of GPT units in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, removal and thorough cleaning of all debris by mechanical or manual methods, dumping of debris in accordance with EPA requirements, recording of cleaning data for all GPTs and GIPs (type of data and method to be confirmed by Council on award of contract), and active involvement in ongoing program review and stormwater asset prioritisation.
