About

Gympie Regional Council is seeking a supplier to collect and recycle scrap metal received at its Waste Management Facilities and Council Depots for an initial two-year term with possible extensions of two 12-month periods. The contract covers purchase and removal of all ferrous and non‑ferrous metal items, excluding electronic waste, and requires supply of bins for ferrous metal at the Council’s three depots. The service is intended to support the Council’s resource recovery goals, improve operational efficiency and reduce safety risks from on-site stockpiling.
