About

Town of Port Hedland is seeking a supplier for rates support services to assist the Rates Team in delivering compliant rates billing within a complex statutory environment. The role covers overseeing annual rate setting, managing property revaluation processes with Landgate, performing interim rating, transferring knowledge to the Rates and Finance team, and requires a strong understanding of local government rating legislation including mining leases, State Agreements, mining tenements, pastoral leases, and related leasing and licensing as described by the Mining Act (Mining Act 1904) and the Government Trading Enterprises Act 2023 (WA).
