The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to develop, coordinate and maintain the Safety Analysis Report (SAR) and associated Plans and Arrangements (P&A) for the Nuclear Medicine Manufacturing Facility (NMMF) at Lucas Heights, NSW. The consultant will prepare regulatory submission documentation and supporting forms for staged licence applications to the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA), integrate safety inputs from multiple design consultants and stakeholders, manage review and approval processes, and support ANSTO during licence assessments and approvals to build a comprehensive safety case in accordance with ARPANSA regulatory guidance and ANSTO requirements. The services will support multiple licence application packages across the design, construction and operation phases of the NMMF, which will replace ANSTO's existing radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility and support the long term supply of nuclear medicines for Australia.
