About

Penrith City Council is seeking a supplier for the supply and delivery of two aquatic wheelchairs for use across its aquatic and leisure facilities. The replacement wheelchairs must be specifically designed for pool, hydrotherapy and wet-area environments; constructed from corrosion-resistant and rustproof materials suitable for continuous exposure to water and outdoor conditions; lightweight, durable and easy to manoeuvre for users and carers; include solid, puncture-proof tyres and hand-operated brakes on both rear wheels; provide comfortable and safe seating suitable for aquatic facility patrons; and be capable of being fully immersed in water via a lifting frame.
