Defence is seeking suppliers to join the Australian Watercraft and Seaboats Standing Offer Panel to design, integrate, manufacture and support seaboats and small watercraft that enable rescue and recovery, personnel and equipment transfer, boarding operations, force protection and specialist maritime missions. The Panel will provide Defence and other Commonwealth agencies streamlined access to a small number of experienced Australian suppliers, reduce procurement lead times, and deliver a consistent contracting framework for future acquisitions. Defence intends to leverage Australian industrial capability by establishing long-term relationships that provide platform integration, technical data and ongoing sustainment support. The Request for Tender uses ASDEFCON contracting templates and includes both Panel establishment requirements and immediate procurement opportunities through identified Tasking Statements.
