Fire and Rescue NSW is seeking a supplier for duty wear shirts and trousers to be worn as an ensemble by operational personnel for both operational and non-operational duties. Duty wear will be used for rescue activities such as motor vehicle and vertical rescue, medical first response, storm and tempest response, bushfire fighting where the long sleeve duty wear shirt is worn as part of an ensemble including the multi-purpose jacket and duty wear trousers, hazardous materials operations where the long sleeve duty wear shirt is worn as part of an ensemble including chemical protective clothing, structural firefighting where either the short or long sleeve duty wear shirt may be worn as part of the structural firefighting ensemble, and situations requiring increased visibility where a high visibility upper garment is worn over the shirt. Tenderers may propose supply and distribution or supply-only arrangements, and may propose repair services if they offer such a service.
