Transport for NSW is seeking a supplier for truck-mounted Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs), including Hi‑Rail EWPs, for maintenance and inspection activities across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The procurement comprises two packages: Package A requires one truck-mounted EWP capable of accessing the bridge arch, underdeck areas and other elevated locations with a minimum working height of 80 metres, minimum outreach of 30 metres, minimum basket payload of 500 kg, operation within the bridge deck structural loading limits including specified outrigger footprint and reaction load requirements, and a preferred double-articulated boom configuration. Package B requires four Hi‑Rail truck-mounted EWPs (two units with minimum vertical reach of 15 metres and two units with minimum vertical reach of 20 metres) that can operate on both road and rail, are compatible with Sydney Trains infrastructure and track gauge requirements, and where each unit features a double-articulated boom lift, minimum basket capacity of 300 kg, automatic transmission, and operation.
