Council is seeking a supplier to deliver grant-funded works at the Swan Reach Boat Ramp. The council intends to seek tenders for five separate scope items which will be concurrently assessed and may be awarded to one or more tenderers, and will enter into a Works Agreement with the successful tenderer/s. Not all scopes must be tendered together (for example Scope 1 and 2 may be tendered alone, or Scopes 3, 4 and 5 may be tendered alone). The scope options are: Scope 1 – construction of a new boat ramp (to be completed by 31 March 2027) with consideration of Scope 2 as the next stage of construction; Scope 2 – piling and pontoon installation; Scope 3 – construction of carparks (Boat Ramp and Bowling Club Lane), landscaping, shelter and riverbank remediation at the Boat Ramp; Scope 4 – construction of a new rock mound and demolition of the existing wharf (DIT Wharf Remediation) (further funding required to progress); and Scope 5 – construction of the Len White Reserve carpark. Each scope is subject to Council approval, authorisation and awarding.
