MidCoast Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced civil contractors to replace Tiri Bridge in Tiri NSW 2424 after a record-breaking May 2025 flood made the bridge eligible for replacement under NSW Reconstruction Authority guidelines. Council has completed detailed investigations, designs and TfNSW specifications and now invites tenders to replace the bridge, which is located approximately a 50-minute drive west of Taree spanning the Manning River and accessed via Nowendoc Rd and Tiri Rd; a temporary limited structure has been reinstated to provide community connectivity. Construction commencement is subject to receipt of a suitable tender and NSW RA construction funding approvals.
