The District Council of Loxton Waikerie is seeking suitably qualified contractors for design and construction services to upgrade the Waikerie Wastewater Treatment Plant. The council has reopened the Open Request for Tender due to changed project and market conditions, including an extension to the WISER Grant funding timeline and a revised Practical Completion date of 29/02/2028. The original Open RFT closed on 23 July 2026; the tender will reopen on 28/09/2026 and close at 5:00pm (Adelaide Time) on 19/10/2026, and existing and new tenderers may submit new or revised tenders during this period. The reopened process will proceed on the same terms and conditions as the original Open RFT, subject only to the revised schedule of works and any addendums issued to date; responses must be lodged before the closing time and in accordance with the request documents.
