About

TAFE Queensland is seeking suppliers for the provision of welding training bays, welding fume extraction systems, associated infrastructure and supporting equipment for educational and training facilities across its campuses. This RFI aims to gather information from suitably qualified suppliers to understand market capabilities, develop functional requirements, estimate budgetary considerations and inform any future procurement strategy, and TAFE Queensland encourages proposals of innovative or emerging technologies that may provide superior welding fume control outcomes compared with traditional local exhaust ventilation systems. There are 26 identified campuses that provide welding training and proposed solutions should support installations ranging from individual training bays through to larger multi-bay educational workshop environments; closing date is 06/Nov/2026 12:00 PM (Brisbane time), reference VP529541.
