City of Ballarat is seeking a supplier to construct a shared path as part of the Ballarat Connections trail alongside Whitelaw Avenue between Doug Dean Reserve and Sutton Street, including links into the adjacent footpath network and south into Doug Dean Reserve. The combined length of the proposed connections is just over 1,000 m and includes five shared user raised pedestrian crossings; scope covers site establishment and demolition, solar lighting, minor roadworks, asphalt works, concrete footpath and kerb construction, a 10-space carpark extension, pram ramps, planted drainage swales, grated drainage channels, and modification and construction of side entry and grated pits.
