About

The Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking information on available and emerging wildlife detection technologies that support management of wildlife in road environments. This RFI (VP528935) is focused on four capability pillars: automated detection of wildlife near the State Road Network; automated wildlife classification and identification (accurate species identification); automated monitoring of wildlife road-crossing activity and/or proximity to road infrastructure; and automated generation of real-time alerts/notifications/warnings with reporting and analytics to support driver awareness.
