Yarra Ranges Shire Council is seeking a contractor for the construction of the Yarra Valley Trail Stage 2A along the Yarra Valley Railway corridor between Yarra Glen and Tarrawarra, comprising 3.7 km of crushed rock trail, two bridges, three boardwalks and associated fencing. Council prefers construction to start no later than 1 February 2027 with Practical Completion by 30 September 2027; a mandatory site visit will be held. Tenderers must note the Principal’s amendment to AS 4000‑1997 Clause 47 that authorises the contractor to manage or control the workplace to the extent necessary to meet principal contractor duties under the OH&S regulations. Tender submissions must be uploaded as a single zipped file via the e‑tendering portal by the stated closing time; late or alternative submissions will not be accepted unless agreed in writing by Council’s Procurement Services.
