Department of State Development awarded a contract to Lucas Total Contract Solutions (USG) Pty Ltd for delivering the South Australian Business Creditor Assistance Scheme on behalf of the Treasurer of South Australia.

The contract provided for administration of a grant to assist a grant recipient to continue to operate as a going concern during the external administration of OneSteel Manufacturing Pty Ltd (Administrators Appointed), the Designated Entity.

Grants under the Scheme were administered to support eligible businesses owed one or more eligible debts by the Designated Entity, as set out in the Scheme guidelines.

The Chief Executive, Department of State Development, approved an exemption from disclosure of the grant amount and the listing of debts in Attachment 4 under Section 22.1 of Premier and Cabinet Circular 027 on the grounds of genuinely confidential business information.
