About
WA Country Health Service awarded a contract to 2XM Consult Pty Ltd for the Agency Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Supply Panel, which facilitates the temporary supply of registered nurses, midwives, nurse practitioners, enrolled nurses, critical care and emergency department nurses, paediatric nurses, mental health nurses, remote area nurses, and assistants in nursing.
The panel creates a pre-qualified supplier list for Health Service Providers to appoint staff to meet roster shortfalls when normal staffing arrangements or NurseWest cannot fill them.
The panel does not guarantee any volume of work, and the Health Service Providers reserve the right to appoint multiple contractors.
This panel approach allows WA Country Health Service to flexibly address staffing gaps in remote and regional areas, where workforce shortages are acute, by maintaining a pool of pre-qualified agencies.
