About

Forest Products Commission awarded a contract to BSI Group ANZ Pty Ltd for regular certification and surveillance audit services to assess the Commission's compliance with the AS/NZS 4708 Sustainable Forest Management standard for plantations and native forest (including ecological thinning) and with PEFC ST 2002 (PEFC 2002:2020) Chain of Custody certification for sandalwood.

The contract continued the Commission's program of engaging an appropriately qualified, independent auditing body to undertake assessments of its operations against those standards.
