About

Department for Infrastructure and Transport awarded a contract to DOWNER EDI WORKS PTY LTD for pavement rehabilitation and sealing of the Strzelecki Track between MM369 and MM398 (Dog Fence to Yeralina Creek).

The works formed part of the Upgrade of the Strzelecki Track, jointly funded by the Commonwealth and South Australian Governments, on a mostly unsealed 472-kilometre road linking Lyndhurst to Innamincka that serves oil and gas facilities near Moomba, as well as outback communities, tourism, and pastoralists.

The contract covered rehabilitation and sealing on the specified section under the Department’s Preferred Supply Arrangement, Civil and Bridges (PSACB).
