About
Moira Shire Council awarded a contract to Waratah Constructions for the construction of an access ramp at the Numurkah Multi-purpose building, Numurkah Showgrounds.
The works include site establishment, location of services, construction of footings, supply and installation of the steel framed ramp, connection of ramp to the existing building, installation of ramp decking, construction of approach ramp, construction of concrete pad around ramp, supply and installation of ramp railing, supply and installation of public lighting, cleanup and tidy site, and site dis-establishment.
The building will continue to be used throughout the contract period, and the contractor must ensure that suitable and appropriate building access for building users is maintained at all times.
This contract reflects Moira Shire Council's investment in accessibility infrastructure at a community facility, with Waratah Constructions selected to deliver the project while maintaining ongoing building access.
