Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is seeking suitably qualified contractors to deliver roads, drainage, electrical infrastructure, parks and reserves to support future residential development on the eastern side of Lee Point Road in Muirhead North Stages 1B, 1C and 2, Lee Point, NT. The RFT gives weighted consideration to local businesses and majority Indigenous-owned businesses and encourages respondents to demonstrate how they will contribute to Indigenous economic participation and engage with the local Aboriginal community throughout the project lifecycle. Tenderers should demonstrate how sustainability principles will be incorporated into the planning, delivery and management of the works to align with DHA’s environmental and ESG objectives. Builders contracted to undertake Building Work must be accredited under the WHS Accreditation Scheme established under the Federal Safety Commissioner Act 2022 at the time of entering the contract and while the Building Work is being carried out. DHA is not required to comply with the Commonwealth Procurement Framework or the Commonwealth Procurement Rules; the RFT is issued through AusTender.
