About
Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions awarded a contract to Magic Dirt Trailworx (The trustee for Tashi Delek Trust) for establishment of a shared-use (walk & cycle) trail of approximately 3,120 metres.
The work involved new trail construction across grazed farmland and improvements to existing vehicle tracks and trails to make them fit for purpose as a shared-use trail.
The works were part of a broader project to develop a shared-use trail connecting from the Denmark-Nornalup Heritage Trail, at its intersection with South Coast Highway, through to Greens Pool.
The award combined new trail construction and upgrades to existing tracks, a scope that aligns with specialist trail-construction contractors experienced in recreational path building and adapting vehicle tracks for shared pedestrian and cycle use.
