Main Roads Western Australia awarded a contract to Yirdiya Pty Ltd for the construction of Manuwarra Red Dog Hwy Stage 2 Phase 2.

The works comprised placement of a 185mm overlay, cement stabilisation of floodways and second coat sealing.

The contract required R1 pre-qualification and mandated that any persons contracted to undertake the building work held accreditation under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 at the time of tender closing and while the building work was carried out.

Tenderers intending to bid as a Joint Venture were required to review the additional requirements outlined by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2016.
