About

Programmed Facility Management awarded a contract to Solution 4 Building Pty Ltd for the construction of a new Western Power electrical substation at the SM TAFE Carlisle Campus on behalf of the Department of Housing and Works and the Department of Training and Workforce Development.

The scope of work included a new Western Power substation and associated electrical and hydraulic works.

Jurovich Surveying had been engaged to carry out a feature survey, peg the site, prepare IODP, and lodge with Landgate, with any further surveys to be completed by the vendor/contractor.

The contract required cable runs through the middle of the site to be completed during the scheduled term break; the Western Power quote was to be paid by the client and coordination with Western Power was required.

The contract specified Western Power 'Site Readiness' by 25/09/2026 and that all works were to be completed and energised prior to Term 1 2027 (September term break 28/09/26–02/10/26; Christmas period 14/12/26–29/01/27).
