Greater Western Water awarded a contract to Jaydo Construction Pty Ltd for the construction of a recycled water pipeline at Werribee Open Range Zoo.
The project involved open cut construction of approximately 2.3 km of DN600 MSCL recycled water main through the GWW Werribee Recycled Water Plant, the Werribee River Regional Park, and WORZ, as well as approximately 400 m of DN710 PE water main installed via horizontal directional drilling across the Werribee River.
This contract supports water recycling infrastructure, a key focus for utilities in water-scarce regions, and Jaydo Construction has a track record of delivering pipeline projects for water authorities.
