Goulburn-Murray Water awarded a contract to Ertech Pty Ltd for the construction of the Taylors Regulator Fishway at Taylors Creek.
The project aims to address key threats to native fish populations in northern Victoria by enabling fish movement throughout the Gunbower and lower Loddon system, covering over 1000 km of waterways.
This work targets the highest priority remaining barriers to fish passage identified in the North Central CMA’s Native Fish Recovery Plan.
This contract reflects ongoing investment in environmental infrastructure to restore aquatic connectivity, a priority for water management authorities in the Murray-Darling Basin.
